We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic civil engineering firm. The ideal candidate will have strong financial expertise, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of accounting practices related to the construction and engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Budgeting & Cost Control: Assist in project budgeting, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Taxation & Compliance: Prepare financial statements, ensure tax filings are accurate, and comply with all regulatory requirements.
• Payroll Processing: Manage payroll calculations, deductions, and salary disbursements.
• Invoice & Billing: Prepare and process invoices, ensuring timely payments from clients and to vendors.
• Reconciliation: Conduct bank and account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
• Financial Reporting: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management review.
• Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation.

Requirements:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in construction or civil engineering accounting is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of construction-related financial procedures, taxation, and cost management.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in financial reporting and record-keeping.
• Communication & Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with project managers, vendors, and clients.
